I cannot thank you enough for your support during this campaign. While the results were not what we had hoped for, your unwavering support helped make our campaign one of the strongest in the country—resulting in the narrowest NDP loss nationwide.

Serving as the Member of Parliament for New Westminster–Burnaby for over 20 years has been an incredible honour and privilege. I have cherished every moment of advocating for our amazing community in Ottawa, and I will carry these memories with me always.

This was a tough campaign, but New Democrats are no strangers to challenges. We are strong, resilient, and united by a vision for a Canada where no one is left behind. That belief will continue to inspire us all—and it will guide the path forward as we rebuild together.
